The next National Eucharistic Revival Year Session will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 7PM in the parish hall. The one-hour presentation that evening will include two dynamic videos by Fr. Chris Alar, MIC titled: St. Faustina and the Feast of Divine Mercy and The Image, Novena, Chaplet and Hour of Divine Mercy.

The Sunday after Easter is the Feast of the Divine Mercy. The feast emerged from revelations to a Polish Catholic religious sister and mystic (St. Maria Faustina Kowalska) who had apparitions of Jesus Christ in the 1930s. Described by Pope St. John Paul II as “nobody from nowhere” her life overflowed with remarkable mystical graces, divine disclosures, and heavenly visitations. To her, Jesus emphasized the importance of His mercy. Divine Mercy Sunday was officially dedicated by Pope St. John Paul II on the day of St. Faustina's canonization in 2000.

The main message of Divine Mercy, rooted in revelations to St. Faustina Kowalska, is that God's love and mercy are greater than any sin, urging people to trust in Jesus and extend mercy to others.

Jesus told St. Faustina that, by means of the Divine Mercy message and devotion, He is giving mankind the hope of salvation. Find out what role Divine Mercy Sunday plays in our salvation and what roles devotions play in the spiritual life of Catholics.

Do you know how through this devotion you can receive the extraordinary promise Jesus offers only one day a year on Divine Mercy Sunday? Learn what that promise is and the importance that Divine Mercy Sunday plays in receiving it.

Learn about how the image of the Divine Mercy was created and how the symbolisim associated with it captures the Pascal Mystery.

Learn how the novena and the chaplet associated with it originated, and why 3PM is considered and hour of Divine Mercy.

These dynamic talks on the Catholic faith will foster within you a deeper love of God through a deeper understanding of His mercy.
