Christian Initiation of Adults is the process through which adults learn about the Catholic faith and prepare to become full members of the Catholic Church. It is open to those who are not baptized, those baptized in another Christian tradition who wish to become Catholic, and baptized Catholics who have not yet received all the Sacraments of Initiation. Through prayer, formation, and participation in parish life, participants prepare to receive the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist, usually at the Easter Vigil.
