OCIA REGISTRATION

Are you interested in becoming Catholic or completing your sacraments of initiation?


The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is the process through which adults are welcomed into full communion with the Catholic Church. This journey involves answering questions about the faith, addressing any misunderstandings, and fostering a deeper spiritual life.

We warmly invite the following individuals to join us:

  • Catechumens – those who have never been baptized and seek to enter the Church.
  • Candidates – those already baptized in another Christian tradition who wish to become fully Catholic.
  • Adult Catholics in need of Confirmation – those who have received Baptism and First Communion but have not yet been Confirmed. Preparation will lead to Confirmation at the Cathedral in Joliet.

Our OCIA sessions offer faith formation, prayer, and community support, culminating in the beautiful celebration of the sacraments at the Easter Vigil.
